One thing to note is that Blogger uses the word Gadget instead of widget. Gadgets can add lots of dynamic content to your blog. For example, if you have a YouTube channel, a video gadget would make it really easy for you to share your videos on your blog. Every time you add a new video to your channel, the gadget on your blog automatically updates itself to reflect those changes.
